The Reserve Bank of India Services Board invites applications for the posts mentioned below in Reserve Bank of India (RBI/Bank) on contractual basis:
Legal Consultant ‘F’ Grade on contractual basis: 02 vacancies
Legal Consultant ‘C’/’D’ Grade on contract basis: 04 vacancies
Legal Consultant ‘F’ Grade
Educational Qualifications Required as on 01-09-2018
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India; a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years; and
- Master’s Degree / Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university.
Experience required as on 01-09-2018
- At least ‘fifteen years’ experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a bank or financial institution.
- Experience in Taxation laws, International laws, laws relating to Banking, Payment Systems, Forex and Cyber / IT Laws.
Remuneration
- Rs. 3,00,000/- per month (without housing)
- Rs. 1,75,000/- per month (with housing)
Legal Consultant ‘C’/’D’ Grade
Educational Qualifications required as on 01-09-2018
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law recognized by the Bar Council of India; with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate of all semesters/years and
- Master’s Degree /Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university.
Experience as on 01-09-2018
- At least ‘Seven years’ experience as an Advocate or as a Law Officer in the Legal Department of a bank or financial institution.
- Experience in Taxation laws, International laws, laws relating to Banking, Payment Systems, Forex and Cyber / IT Laws.
Remuneration
Legal Consultant in Gr ‘D’ (on contract basis)
- Rs. 1.35 lakh p.m.(with housing)
- Rs. 2.10 lakh p.m. (without housing)
Legal Consultant in Gr ‘C’ (on contract basis)
- Rs 1.25 lakh p.m. (with housing)
- Rs. 1.80 lakh p.m (without housing)
Nationality
A candidate must be either
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
