Internship Opportunity: NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2019-20
NABARD invites applications from universities/institutes for the NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2019-20 (SIS).
Eligibility Criteria
Students who have completed the first year of post-graduation studies in Agriculture, Agri-Business, Economics, Social Studies and Management with good academic background from Institute/University of repute, students in the 4th year of integrated 5-year courses, Legal studies and Law students in PG or 5 years integrated course and Indian students studying abroad are eligible for SIS 2019-20.
A Maximum of 5 applications will be entertained from any Institution/University by ROs/TEs/HO of NABARD for SIS 2019-20. Based on academic qualification, eligible students would be shortlisted for interview. A format of the CV is given in the official notification below.
Number of seats
The total number of seats for SIS 2019-20 is 70. State-wise allocation is given in the Annexure II in the notification below.
Deadline
The last date to apply for the SIS 2019-20 is February 28, 2019.
Stipend
Stipend per month (min 8 weeks to max 12 weeks or 3 months): Rs. 14,000 per month.
Field Visit Allowance (max 30 days): Rs. 1000 per day.
Local allowance at Headquarters for visit to Govt offices/ Banks/agencies for collecting data/information (maximum 15 days): Rs. 300 per day.
Travel allowance (for joining at Regional office, Dist HQ, for field visits and return to HQ by AC III Class): Maximum Rs. 6000 per head.

Applications are to be sent to The Chief Regional General Manager of the concerned regional office. The addresses of the regional offices are given in Annexure III in the notification below.
